Supported Platforms#
Both Altibase server and client only support 64-bit.32-bit Client
Microsoft Windows supports Altibase client only.
All versions of Altibase 7.1 support it unless the patch version is specified.

Please refer to Supported Platforms to check the Red Hat Enterprise Linux minor versions tested for compatibility and other compatible Linux Distributions.
For RHEL 8, libncurses.so.5 and libtinfo.so.5 links must be created in order to execute iSQL and iLoader. For more detailed information, refer to Appendix A. Installation Prerequisites - Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8
Altibase 7.1 Windows Client Restrictions
The following features are not supported by Altibase 7.1 Windows Client.
- .NET Data Provider
- Altibase C Interface
In case 32-bit development environment is required in Windows environment, 32-bit Altibase 6.5.1 client can be used.
